After a year of Zoom meetings and phone calls, the team at MAF Associates are excited at the prospect of attending the Fire Safety Event 2021, taking place in Birmingham from September 7th to 9th.

At a time when the fire industry is changing by the month, as post-Grenfell legislation, regulations and guidance continue to emerge and evolve, the opportunity to finally meet face to face with clients, partners and suppliers is not to be missed.

Joanna Lowe, Associate Director at MAF Associates, commented: “As a business that works remotely on location, we probably had more chances to meet with clients than most during the pandemic, but that’s not quite the same as having time to sit down with people and listen to their viewpoints on the industry, as well as their requirements moving forward.

“The Fire Safety Event 2021 is our first chance in almost two years to actually physically meet up with many of our colleagues and clients, so the whole team is very excited to get to Birmingham and talk about the progress we’ve made over that time, during which MAF Associates has almost doubled in size.”

MAF Associates will be showcasing its Act One integrated service, which has been devised to help clients in the residential sector ensure that all of their responsibilities under the Fire Safety Act 2021 are being met. Act One combines all of the professional disciplines within the MAF Associates team, giving clients the assurance that they are meeting all of their obligations to tenants and building users within the UK’s rapidly evolving regulatory regime.
